what is the name of the app you were using to draw for you Hugh? xo
I can’t recall what it was called, Carol anne. I did it on my iMac using Apple photo editing software that turned photos into drawings.
That’s a cool app, Hugh! I used to be good at drawing but now I have more fun creating on my computer.
I’ve never been able to draw, Eugi. But you’re right about the fun apps out there that can draw for you.
That’s a pretty cool app. I assume it’s your own photo, so I’ll say it’s still art.
Yes, my own photo, Dan. The app turned it into a sketch. I rather like it, especially as I can’t draw.
I love how some photo editing aps can make us feel like we are artists (which I am definitely not). They are so much fun to play around with.
I agree. I’ve never been able to draw, but now I feel like I have even though it is via an app.
I used to be fairly good but it’s a skill that needs to be constantly worked at. I would say – a scene of comfort about your drawing!
Thank you. I used a photo app to turn this photo into a sketch. I’m useless at drawing, but I like that I can now draw via an app.
I think it is a filter but it gets amazingly close to a drawing.
It was a filter, Erika. It’s a photo that I turned into something that looks like a sketch via a photo editing app.
Very cool!!
I prefer your app drawing Hugh, as I think that if a teacher will rate my drawings even now that I will have the same response as you had many years ago.
My link for this week: https://esmesalon.com/reflections/ and do not forget to come in about an hours time to share this with us on WW as it will be ready then. https://esmesalon.com/tag/wordlesswednesday/.
You can imagine how my parents also felt after reading that review from my art teacher, Esme. I’ve always remembered it word for word, whereas I can not remember the good reviews I had on other subjects.
Although a tongue has no bones, it has the ability to break a heart.
I like that thought, Esme.
What a nice scene, Hugh. Is this a result of using a filter on a photograph?
Spot on, Terri. I found an app that turns photos into sketches. It’s a cool app.
Great! I use Painnt which has seemingly countless filters. They are fun to play around with.
I’m rubbish at drawing, I like what you did here though.
Thanks, Cathy. I’m not good at drawing either. There’s a catch with the drawing in the photo.
You used an app?
Yes, I took the photo and then the app changed the photo into a sketch. I like what it does, Cathy. Will I use it again? I may do.
I like playing around with apps like that. Do you use Fotor?
Not one I have used, Cathy. There are so many to choose from.
Very true.
Cool! I might not be good at it, but I have fun drawing!!!
In my school report, (many years ago), my art teacher said ‘Hugh draws like a 3-year-old child.’ You can imagine how that made me feel.
At the time… I could only imagine…
