  1. Welp, I haven’t seen anything like those (look to be) Crocus or Dafidils, but we’ll soon be seeing some Lettuses and other cold crops here now that I got a Chinese Deseil Heater installed in our greenhouse. Got it on a test run today and tonight. It’s -4’C and the greenhouse is at a steady 12’C. I have to get my Cholesterol down because the Doc says so, so I’m gonna be growing a lot of Veggies soon.

  2. Hi Hugh. Thanks so much for popping over and participating and sharing at #WW 11. See you again next week!

  3. Gorgeous! I live in Wisconsin so we don’t see new life until March, April, and some years not to May, but boy do I get excited when I see that first crocus blooming. Visiting you from Wordless Wednesday.

    1. I’ve seen some weeds that produce lovely flowers and can never understand why they are referred to as weeds, Janis. No sign of any weeds in our garden yet, but the snowdrops are the first act of what is to come.

Thanks for your link. That picture looks interesting. I’ll leave my guess on your post.

  4. How lovely to see snowdrops, Hugh. In February last year I was at Chirk Castle with friends to see the snowdrop wood. They are so beautiful.

    1. These were the first in our garden and I do see others poking through the earth. The snowdrop wood sounds like a beautiful place. I’ve been told that snowdrops spread, but they do take a long time to do so.

  5. Hugh, I got nothing, no preview of spring. Except huge weeds that I pulled after the 3 days of rain and flash flooding. The ground is wet and they come right up. 😊

    1. Hi PR – quick question, How do you go about adding the link to show up as above? I am curious to learn from you

        1. Thanks Hugh, I will have a look at that link. much appreciated for sharing it with me

      1. Yes, we are just getting out of the deep freeze, Hugh. Although I suspect it might return! Ah, thank you so much! I’m most certain they are out there! Cher xoxoxo

    1. Yes, snowdrops bring promises of what is to come, Willow. I love these delicate flowers as they are usually the first to make an appearance during the winter months.
