So funny. As if there would be any chocolates left here. 🙂
We have to make room for the Easter chocolate, though.
Dear Hugh, Glad you managed to finish the cookies in time and not waste them.
Thanks so much for participating and sharing at #WW 10. See you again next week!
I dislike throwing away any leftovers, Esme.
Those are the ones with the marshmallow inside arent they? I could stuff all of them in my face and not feel guilty at all, LOL!
No, these have a liquid caramel centre. Very moorish, though.
I’d stuff my face with them also. Lol!
Glad you still have some candy especially chocolate left over. We only have some cookies, but it will also be done soon especially with our cold and snow and the grandkids here for 3 days, I must admit not many left for Grandma. My link for this week.

Funnily enough, I ate the last of the Christmas biscuits this morning. They were just about on the point of going stale, so I’m glad I never wasted any.
Leftover? Ha! Chocolate doesn’t last long in our house.
So it seems in many households, Eugi. Even though I have leftover chocolate from Christmas I’m still buying Easter chocolate.
Chocolate Easter Bunnies – Yum!
Christmas chocolate long gone. Working on Easter chocolates now.
I saw Easter themed chocolate on sale in some shops even before Christmas. It’s a mad world.
Yes it is. But they are usually pretty!
You just reminded me that there’s half a bag of Reese’s Peanut Butter Nutcracker-figure candies in the fridge. Gotta go.
I hope you managed to empty the fridge of them, Dan.
Working on it, Hugh.
Hmm, seems they couldn’t find the chimney. At least, they are not lonely… hehe.
Until there is only one left. And that one could last until Easter.
Haha, same in most household as it looks like!
I have a ton of chocolate left over! But never fear, it WILL eaten!
Good to hear. I normally get a lot of chocolate given to me at Christmas, but this year I did not get as much as I usually do.
No, they wouldn’t be left over! Just after Christmas I came as close as I can remember to being sick of chocolate. Thankfully it didn’t last long…phew!
I go through phases with chocolate. Sometimes, I want it all the time, and then I can go months without touching it. I think I’m in one those moments where I don’t want anymore for a while. But come Easter, I’ll be looking to stock up on half price Easter Eggs, as my favourite chocolate are Easter Egg shells (which I eat from the fridge).
Yeah I know someone else who does the fridge thing but not for me….but with you on the shell’s, a truly wonderful indulgence!
Wow, I’m impressed that you still have those. My chocoholic husband would have taken care of any leftovers long ago.
We always seem to have the odd few chocolates from Christmas that last until Easter. I’m not sure why they never get eaten.
They wouldn’t be left over very long in my house 😉
I guess we had too much chocolate (if there is such a thing?)
I’ll take a couple of those, Hugh! It makes a pretty image. I just ate the chocolate Christmas tree yesterday!
I recent ate a whole larger version of these Father Christmas chocolates, Terri. And I still have another one waiting in the fridge. Fortunately, the ‘best by’ date is end of June 2024.
That could NEVER happen in my house… I live with 2 chocoholics!
I used to be a chocoholic, but not so much these days, although I do still enjoy a little bit of chocolate everyday.
Bless them…
Mind the boys don’t get their paws on these 💜💜💜
i’m pleased to say that both my dogs do not like chocolate – not even the doggy chocolate. They are more ‘savoury.’ Put some cheese out, and they are instantly at the table.
Excellent considering it’s deadly for them ..
Chocolate that is 💜💜💜
