Here’s mine 💜💜💜
Lovely 💜💜
Thank you so much for sharing your link with us at Esmesalon Wordless Wednesday. See you again on January 10th, 2024
You’re welcome, Esme.
Totally my thing: red, green, and gold!
Gold seems a popular festive colour too.
I agree! Those three colors have been with us for the past 25 years and I am not feeling like changing them… haha.
Love the kitty on Santa’s shoulder! So cute!
That figure is from the Raymond Biggs story ‘Father Christmas.’ It’s a seasonal favourite of mine.
I love your combo Hugh,
This year I made a small wreath and only used red and silver with fairy lights and some greenery and it turned out great. Gold will be good as well, depending on what you want to achieve with your decorations.

I’ve always wanted to make my own Christmas wreath, but have never got around to it, Esme. I do make my own Christmas gift tags made from the previous years Christmas cards, though.
Must admit its the first time I made a wreath and it’s so super simple and easy to do, you should try it. I will share a pic of mine soon
That would depend on the country and the festivals celebrated there but a golden touch adds to the festive feel everywhere I guess 😀. My entry here:
It certainly does. Thanks for your link. It’s a great image you have captured.
I love the color combo of the green Holly and the jolly red Santa. It’s a simple but pretty decoration, Hugh. Happy Wednesday and a festive season to you!
Thanks, Terri. I love the green and red combination at this time of year. But whenever I see it at any time of the year, it always reminds me of Christmas.
I linked something which was not meant for WordlessWednesday and now I hope that the correct link ins pinging back. If not: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2023/12/13/baubles-bangles-and-beads/
I like green, red, and white … but here is my choice: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2023/12/13/baubles-bangles-and-beads/
Yes, your pingback worked, thank you. I have to approve all pingbacks and comments on my blog before they appear, but that’s something I choose to do.
Thank you for joining me for Wordless Wednesday this week.
I get it about the approval but I’ve come to mistrust wordpress with these issues. Sometimes I prefer to take the safe route even if it ends up being “doubly boubly” (or daubly baubly.
I don’t mind if people leave both a pingback and a link to their post. It’s a safe way of knowing that you’ve left at least one that will hopefully work. In most majority of cases, both seem to work.
Red, green and white, of course!
I’m glad you said that.
I remember making paper chains for our Christmas tree with those colors when I was little!
Paper chains are something I don’t see much of anymore. But they bring back so many happy memories of Christmases past. I loved all the different colours of them.
Red and Gold for this time of the year!
Thank you for answering my question, Elizabeth.
I love the animal-loving Santa! Here’s mine for this WW: https://michaelsfishbowl.com/2023/12/13/wordless-wednesday-12-13-23/
Thanks for leaving a link to your Wordless Wednesday post, Michael. I’ll be over to take a look.
Red and green definitely, Hugh 🎄I love that Santa has a cat on his shoulder!
I agree, Cathy – red and green are the best.
The Father Christmas figure is from the Raymond Biggs book and cartoon. It has a space for a t-light, so lights up too.
I bet that looks lovely, Hugh.
This is charming!
