Fantastic lighting.
Thank you.
Beautiful photo Hugh 💜💜
Thanks, Willow.
A pleasure 💜😌
Love the lighting Hugh :)
Thanks, Brian.
Wow, the lightening makes the photo just perfect for that prompt.
Thank you, I’m glad you think so. It was a lucky that I took my iPhone out that night.
Oh, you were!!
I used to stay up late. After I turned 60 though, I became an early bird. Night shots are fun to work with; often having a surreal appearance.
Nighttime photography can be fascinating. The photos often reveal stuff you didn’t see when taking the photo.
I was younger when I turned into an early bird. Ever since I hit my 30s, my sleep became far more important.
In my younger years I was a nocturnal creature. Now, not so much. I struggle to stay up past 9pm most nights.
You might want to get some curtains on those windows if you don’t want those nocturnal creatures peeping at you in your birthday suit, LOL!
I’m still in my garden posting WW posts, LOL

The building in the photo is a small hotel. Most of the windows were public areas with the guest room around the other sides of the building.
Likewise, I’m an early bird, but have been since the age of 32.
Love the lighting on this house. Beautiful :D :D
Here is my entry for the week.
Thanks, Cee. Nighttime photography is a favourite of mine.
It’s a wonderful photo :D
I prefer to be knocked out and already in lala land by this time of night. Never been a late night person.
Having said that, this is a great picture

Same here, although in my younger days I could party all night and still be at work the following morning. Now I’m in bed by the time a lot of the young people start their nights out.
I like the photo – it could be very early morning or very late at night. I am not a particularly nocturnal creature – more prone to be walking or swimming at 7 AM.
It was taken at about 10pm one September evening a couple of years ago.
I’m like you and very much an early bird. I like to make the most of the day rather than the night.
I’m done in by 10 or 10:30!
Me too!
Hi Hugh, I wonder what nocturnal creatures do actually see.
I’m hoping something like the scene in the photo in this post, Robbie. But I hope they see the stars too.
