Great choice!
That’s a great carved pumpkin in the window! Happy Halloween, Hugh! 🎃
Carved by my great-niece with some help from her great-uncle (me), Eugi.
Happy Halloween.
Looks great! I loved carving pumpkins with the kids. My son still does with his flatmates and has so much fun. It is wonderful to see, when family traditions live on. And most of all, if they seem to have been fun and are remembered positively.
It’s a wonderful thing to do, Erika. Everyone gets involved and there is always plenty of laughter. My Great-Niece carved this one with some help from her Great-Uncle, me. Next month we’ll be making Christmas tags.
Happy Halloween 🎃
That sounds wonderful and I understand the joy of those moments!
Happy Halloween, Hugh! That’s a great pumpkin in the window! 🎃
Carved by my Great-Niece (with a little help from her Great Uncle), Colleen.
Happy halloween.
What a great photo. I bet you all had great fun together carving the pumpkin. Happy Halloween to you and John. 🎃
Ha! Love it!! My grandkids love Halloween and this year I’ll get to go trick-or-treating with them. I couldn’t go last year because I’d just had foot surgery.
I hope you have a great time trick-or-treating with them, Jan.
Happy Halloween 🎃
There aren’t very many children round us so I’m expecting a quiet night 🎃🎃
I hope you get one then Cathy. My great-niece has told all her class that my house is full of chocolate 🎃
That’s one way to attract the neighbourhood kids 😁
As previously mentioned, not a Halloween follower or participant, but hope you enjoy your Halloween.

I’ve seen a few signs of eerie things in windows, Hugh. I suspect everything will be in full regalia tomorrow afternoon awaiting the trick and/or treaters! I saw your comment about your great-niece letting her classmates know where the chocolate is, Hugh! Yes, I have a feeling you will have quite a few kids approaching your door! Happy Halloween, Hugh! Cher xoxoxo
Yes, I think it’s going to be an expensive evening, Cher. I’ve spent rather a lot on chocolate and other sweets. The problem will be if nobody arrives to claim it all. I guess in which case, that’s me with plenty of treats up until Christmas.
Happy Halloween. 🎃
I am grinning from ear-to-ear, Hugh! I daresay that I would find myself in the same “predicament” – a.k.a. plenty of treats up until Christmas (although if I’m being honest, I don’t think they would last that long due to my extreme “sweet tooth!” LOL
Happy Halloween to you, too! Thank you, Hugh, and please report back on the treats if you don’t mind!
They almost cleared me out of sweets and chocolate, Cher. Good job I kept some back for emergency purposes 🎃
I was wondering, Hugh! Do you think the clear-out was due to your great-niece’s spreading the word at school? LOL Oh, good thing you did keep some back for emergency purposes! That was a very stellar move! Cher xoxoxo
Happy Halloween, Hugh! Love the eerie jack o’lantern in the window. Hope you have a fun evening handing out candy!
A fun and expensive evening, I think, Terri.
Happy Halloween.
Happy Halloween!

There’s a creepy creature behind the window, Hugh! No visible signs of Halloween in Uruguay. I don’t think they celebrate it here.
When I was growing up, Halloween was very low-key, Liesbet. Now, it seems to make mega money for the shops. I was happy playing games like bobbin apples on Halloween night. Now it’s all about dressing up and getting as much chocolate and sweets as you can from strangers. My great-niece has her costume ready and she’s told her classmates that my house is full of chocolate. I’m expecting a busy evening tomorrow.
happy Halloween Hugh! <3
Thank you. Happy Halloween, Carol Anne.
