  1. Looks great! I loved carving pumpkins with the kids. My son still does with his flatmates and has so much fun. It is wonderful to see, when family traditions live on. And most of all, if they seem to have been fun and are remembered positively.

    1. It’s a wonderful thing to do, Erika. Everyone gets involved and there is always plenty of laughter. My Great-Niece carved this one with some help from her Great-Uncle, me. Next month we’ll be making Christmas tags.
      Happy Halloween 🎃

  2. I’ve seen a few signs of eerie things in windows, Hugh. I suspect everything will be in full regalia tomorrow afternoon awaiting the trick and/or treaters! I saw your comment about your great-niece letting her classmates know where the chocolate is, Hugh! Yes, I have a feeling you will have quite a few kids approaching your door! Happy Halloween, Hugh! Cher xoxoxo

    1. Yes, I think it’s going to be an expensive evening, Cher. I’ve spent rather a lot on chocolate and other sweets. The problem will be if nobody arrives to claim it all. I guess in which case, that’s me with plenty of treats up until Christmas.

      Happy Halloween. 🎃

      1. I am grinning from ear-to-ear, Hugh! I daresay that I would find myself in the same “predicament” – a.k.a. plenty of treats up until Christmas (although if I’m being honest, I don’t think they would last that long due to my extreme “sweet tooth!” LOL

Happy Halloween to you, too! Thank you, Hugh, and please report back on the treats if you don’t mind!

        1. I was wondering, Hugh! Do you think the clear-out was due to your great-niece’s spreading the word at school? LOL Oh, good thing you did keep some back for emergency purposes! That was a very stellar move! Cher xoxoxo

    1. When I was growing up, Halloween was very low-key, Liesbet. Now, it seems to make mega money for the shops. I was happy playing games like bobbin apples on Halloween night. Now it’s all about dressing up and getting as much chocolate and sweets as you can from strangers. My great-niece has her costume ready and she’s told her classmates that my house is full of chocolate. I’m expecting a busy evening tomorrow.
