The past three months have been busy outside the world of blogging, so much so that I didn’t get the chance to write and publish monthly round-up posts for September or October.
Did I feel bad? Did I apologise? No. Sometimes life gets in the way of schedules, and my blogging routine was thrown off course, but it happens to everyone, and nobody needs to apologise. From what I saw, my posts from September, October and November continued to receive engagement, and for me, it’s all about interacting with other bloggers, writers, and readers.
Better late than never. Without further ado, here is the monthly round-up for the past three months on Hugh’s Views and News.

Thank you for your round-ups, Hugh. I always find them informative and helpful.
Thank you for the great feedback, Eugi. I’m definitely sticking with publishing round-up posts.
You’re welcome, Hugh.
It has certainly been a disruptive year for me and though my content is nowhere near as frequent as yours even in normal times, I have made sure I’ve dipped in and out of peoples blogs when I can, even if I’ve not been posting much myself. And your monthly reminders are always good and must obviously work for you also.
I cut back on the number of posts I was publishing while I was dealing with other matters, Paul. However, what I found was that when I was able to spend more time on my blog (only a few weeks ago), the publishing schedule I’d been using for those three months was much better. So, I’m sticking with it rather than getting stressed or feeling overwhelmed when a deadline approaches. Also, I don’t want to publish posts just for the sake of doing so. I see some bloggers doing this all the time, which affects the quality of their content.
I’m glad these round-up post reminders help. Many people have said the same thing, so I’ll stick with this schedule.
thanks for the roundup! we need reminders at times with busy lives –
That’s certainly true of me. There are only 24 hours in a day, but sometimes that can seem much less.
Fun and life can get in the way of blogging, Hugh, but in your case, you managed to share a few excellent tips that we bloggers are eternally grateful for! But I know how much you love Christmas, so enjoy that and all the goodness that comes with it! Thanks for this round-up, I see a post I missed!
I’m glad these posts not only act as reminders but also bring to readers, posts they may have missed, Terri.
And I easily added the recommendations on my blog site!
Enjoy getting a roundup to remind me to check them out!
That’s excellent to hear, John. I hope these round-ups help rather than seem senseless. I know some readers don’t like them, but I always think they act as a great reminder.
I am new to your blog so it’s a great way to see what you share!
Welcome to Hugh’s Views and News, John. I hope you find plenty of content that interests you.
thanks for the round up Hugh! I shall be checking out the posts that I somehow missed! And, I never knew about the blog recommendation feature!
This is precisely why I do these monthly round-up posts, Carol-Anne. Nobody can read all the posts of the blogs they follow, so this is a great way to keep readers up to date with what’s been published. I’m glad this feature helps.
