A fridge full of cold beer.
Beautiful photo, Hugh. 😊
What a stunning shot of a double rainbow, Hugh! I saw one many years ago and it was my birthday. Pure magic.
How lucky to see one on your birthday, Eugi. We get quite a few double rainbows over the bay.
You live in such a beautiful place. That double rainbow must have been amazing to view.
It was, and I’m pleased to say that I see a few of them over the bay. Thank you, Michael.
Looks like your lucky day!
Lucky because I spotted a double rainbow?
Here is mine Hugh 💜💜🌈
hi Hugh, I love the light shining off the wet sand and in the distance the diving Rainbow 🌈 and it’s shadow 💜💜💜🌈
Unlike our shadows, the shadows of rainbows seem to keep their colour, Willow. For me, that’s magic.
There are so many beautiful views this planet still provides. But rainbows always belong to them everywhere.
I agree, Erika. Rainbows are magical. I always thank myself lucky whenever I spot one.
Oh, so do I! Depending on the weather, I know when and where rainbows can become visible around my house. Then I run and check… mostly I am successful!
Oh the rainbow seems to be coming out like a fountain! I have one like that too but not from a water body – https://flightsofthesoul.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/rainbow.jpg. Very nice 🙂. My entry here:
I see lots of broken rainbows over Swansea Bay. In fact, I see more of them than full rainbows.
Thanks for your entry.
What an awesome shot, love anything to do with sea, nature, forest or mountains.
Today I share Spring has Sprung and do not miss to come and participate at ES #24 #WordlessWednesday
Thanks, Esme.
That’s a pretty rainbow, Hugh. I enjoy seascapes, bright stars at night in the desert, and about everything astonishing from the natural world, especially waterfalls and snowy mountain tops (from afar). :)
Thank you, Liesbet. If you look closely, it’s a double rainbow, something I don’t see very often.
I like everything you mentioned in your comment, especially a starry sky.
A gorgeous view, Hugh. Anything that includes the sea is a favourite of mine.
I enjoy living by the sea, Cathy. It has a calming effect.
Definitely the ones from the space station!
They’re spectacular, aren’t they? And I love how on some of them you can make out things like the Great Wall of China.
Just awesome and awe -inspiring.
What a spectacular image you captured here, Hugh! The storm, the rainbow (double) and a bit of blue sky all framing the ocean, well–just glorious! The city shining in the distance–all shows our Earth and its vastness. Nicely done!
Thank you, Terri. The city in the distance is Swansea. We live about 2 miles outside of the city. Swansea Bay is a spectacular place, even during the winter months. The sunrises are magical, as are the nights when the moon rises over the bay. Planet Earth at it’s best.
A beautiful place to live!
Nice to see a rainbow with the cold weather we’re having where I live. Thanks for sharing that!
If you look closely, it’s a double rainbow. I took this photo in December on a very cold day.
Oh, I did not notice that 😂, but I’m so busy today with my internship 😝.
Cool to see a double rainbow in December then 😊
