Oops – I lost my comment which went into cyberspace I think. I scrolled thru the comments to see if these treats were like an English muffin or a scone. I like scones – my mom made them and they’re more popular in Canada where I grew up, than here in the States. We’d eat them plain or with butter and jam. They look delicious Hugh. Here is my post about a gosling who bit off a dandelion and was enjoying it.

Welsh cakes are like a flat fruit scone, Linda. I eat mine plain (as they come) but some people like to spread them with butter and jam.
Now I wish I had a scone, but I’ve never seen them here, Mom is long gone and I’m not a baker. I will have to get another “sweet fix” I guess.
