You had it all here Hugh … a little bit of rain, a cloud illuminated in part by the sun and even a rainbow. You were at the right place at the right time to capture these three items.
Here is my Wordless Wednesday post and I still have a few more birds to share on Wednesdays before I call it done ’til next Summer … this has been my year for new birds and unusual bird photos, like this one:

I was lucky to be there at the right time, Linda. I witnessed another incredible site of life on Earth.
Yes, you did … you hit the Trifecta Hugh!
I think clouds add a lot to any photo. Love this one. It’s a little late, but here’s a link to my Wordless Wednesday challenge. https://batteredsuitcase.net/wordless-wednesday-autumn-mist/
Clouds are something that I could watch all day, Stephen.
Thank you for joining us for Wordless Wednesday.
Great pic!

Absolutely spectacular – thanks

Thank you.
A beautiful photo, Hugh. I see a rainbow where the white clouds meets the light grey clouds.
I’m glad you spotted the rainbow, Natalie. I was hoping somebody would.
That’s really stunning and a lot brighter than me rainy day.
Taken this time last year, Wayne. Autumn can often bring us such beauty weatherwise.
100% Hugh!
What a fantastic catch. The complete before, during, and after of a bad weather front. Wow!
It was great watching it travel down the coastline, Erika.
I can imagine what a fascinating view that must have been.
The coming storm AND a rainbow! Well captured, Hugh!
Thanks, Terri. Not so much a storm as a brief passing shower. I watched it travel all the way down the coastline.
I’ve been to Cardiff a few times but not Swansea, it looks a beautiful place.
Swansea Bay is a stunning place at any time of the year, Paul. I hope you make it to Swansea one day.
That is gorgeous, Hugh! 💜
Thanks so much, Cher.
Oh that rainbow! Beautiful area to stop and just breathe in the air…

I took this photo a year ago today, on a cool, fresh autumnal day. It was a lucky capture.
What a lovely waterscape, Hugh. Here is my first Wordless Wednesday entry. https://heavenssunshine.com/drip-drop-2/
Thank you, Pepper. Your Wordless Wednesday photos are spectucuklar. Thank you for joining us.
Thanks, Hugh. So glad you enjoyed the images. 😊
Great photo. I’m a big fan of clouds and you captured such an interesting formation.
Same here, Janis. I enjoy lying on the grass during the warmer months while watching the clouds go by.

Great shot, Hugh. It’s almost like I’m watching the clouds moving in.
Thanks, Cathy. I watched the passing shower make its way down the coastline. It was moving quite fast.
Beautiful!
Thank you.
Love the atmosphere in the photo Hugh.
Here is mine ❤️
