  1. 😂 yep. It’s probably the reason why I’m somehow won’t lose the weight. As of now I’m gaining with no apparent reason as well. It’s no fun.

    1. Losing weight can be hard to do. It takes a lot of will-power, especially when those around you are not on a diet. I find that eating pineapple get’s rid of my sweet craving.

      1. Yeah, fruit and berries are so much better to eat than processed garbage. The problem is that I rarely have that at home. We don’t have enough storage and the freezer is filled with – you guessed it – processed junk 😂.

  2. We never ever buy candy in our household, but I’d love to pick out a few from your photo, Hugh. I had no idea it was a cake. I thought it was a bowl full of sweets, with sweets as decorations and everything wrapped up in a clear package.

    1. They had lots of these cakes inside the shop, Liesbet. Apparently, they are very popular at birthday parties instead of having a sponge birthday cake. I sure children would love them, but I’d much rather have a slice of fruit cake.

      1. I did not actually have to pull any teeth – only get my head in gear and have not had any candy for almost 3-4 months.

    1. I found out that the cake in the photo can be deconstructed bit by bit rather than by slicing it, Terri. Still, all the same, you’re right about it making teeth ache just by looking at it. I loved all the different colours, though. That’s what caught my eye.

      Thanks for your link.
