    Thanks Hugh, sorry for being so very late, but its been a full week of fun and celebrations (Not US Thanksgiving as I am in Canada) but lots of other stuff to be thankful for so only catching up late on Sunday evening.

    Love those baloons. The only reason to watch that parade. Glad you could see it though 🤣😎🙃

      Yes, we were actually there and managed to make our way to the front of the crowds. It was wonderful to watch.

    Heh heh. I’ve always watched the Macie’s Parade only to watch those large balloons blow away.. What can I say, stupidity can sometimes be a fun thing to watch.

      No loose balloons at the one I was at. I enjoyed the parade, even if it was very long and we were standing in cold winds and sleet.

    I remember the Hello Kitty phase well – I think it was the mid eighties – along with Chia pets and all kinds of odd things. I worked in San Fran and you couldn’t go into Japan Town or Chinatown without being assailed by a whole universe of the Hello Kitties ….

      I was trying recall the Hello Kitty phase, so thank you for reminding me of when it occurred. Toy phases have certainly changed a lot since my childhood days.
