The pace of the story was excellent. At first, I thought Max was female, but only because, as the narrator, you are female, so it made sense to me. But then, when we discovered that the name of the character telling the story was Max, I was shocked that it was a male. Then came the black nails, and I thought maybe Max was female after all. So much confusion, but I rather liked it. I don’t know about you, but whenever I read a story told from the first point of view, I automatically think the main character is the same sex as the person who wrote the story.    Fun discussion, Hugh and a great picture. I guessed wrong, but without enlarging it on my computer, it’s impossible to see the face of the right one. That was a huge gathering. We didn’t have any of those in my family historical pictures, so this was fun. :)

      A lot of people got it wrong, so I was delighted when somebody finally found that guy, Marsha. He was looking straight at me as if he knew I was taking that shot even though I must have appeared as a tiny dot from where he was sitting.

      The photo was taken in a theatre that sits over 1.000 people. That particular night we saw ‘The Jersey Boys.’ Great music and a great show.
