Nice web shooting ! We should have the humanity to respect other living beings home, no matter how big or small it is. Unless it disturbs us in someway,we should not damage their home and teach our kids the same. Home Sweet Home!

      Thank you.

I agree, although I do dust away abandoned webs inside the house.

It is not entirely wrong to remove webs inside our home as long as you leave the spider alive. They lose their webs outside nature more than they lose it inside home. Nature has gifted them the ability to build their webs very fast. But abandoned webs, it’s the right thing to do!

I never kill spiders. In fact, I don’t kill anything, although I give flying insects a helping hand to find their way out of the house.

Thank you for being kind hearted!

Indeed! This seemingly harmless web is not only a work of art, it actually belongs to a predator who uses it quite effectively to lure and trap lunch or dinner!

Which goes to prove that some things of beauty also have a dark side. I’d hate to be the victim of a spider, but I guess nature has to give us all ways to survive.

    Nature’s work of art!

Yes. Isn’t she wonderful at what she creates?

We had a morning like this today – that fog and rain really enhances the spider’s handiwork doesn’t it?

    1. Hugh W. Roberts avatar

It does a great job in highlighting spiders webs, Linda.

    A fabulous capture, Hugh!

      Thank you, Darlene.

Nice! I can never get a good shot of a spider web with dew on it in the morning. But that is a good one for sure.

    More flowers from me today.

Thank you. I was lucky finding it. It was taken early one foggy, damp autumn morning.

Home indeed, Hugh! I love our spiders, they keep bugs away both inside and out! Beautiful capture with the dew drops on the web.

We have lots of them usually in the Autumn months, Terri. They keep me busy dusting bits of web off the walls or that are hanging from the ceiling.

An amazing shot, love it with the dew drops looking like diamonds

That’s a great analyse about them looking like diamonds.

What a great photo, Hugh! The web is magical caught in the fog.

    1. Hugh W. Roberts avatar

I love it when it’s foggy and damp because these webs show up even more, Colleen. They are all such excellent works of art.

    What a beautiful home

And not only is it strong, but it also acts as a place where you’ll never go hungry.
