I make cinnomin rolls on Easter morning. Then I’m don for the day. 🤣😎🙃
That sounds like a great plan. Happy Easter, Michael.
Happy Easter to you too Hugh 🤣😎🙃
I am caretaking my father and had no plans. Brother #4 connected the dots it was Easter, so he’s transferring his family and all their food to our place for the day. Very thoughtful. They are bringing a ‘honey baked ham’ which is quite popular at Easter around these parts. Must have cost them a lot.
Honey baked ham sounds delicious. Have a wonder Easter with your family.
Those bunny crumpets are too cute to eat, Hugh. We have nothing special planned but anything chocolate will do.
I hope there is some chocolate over the Easter weekend for you, Eugi.
Happy Easter.
Me too, Hugh, and Happy Easter.
Easter eggs.
Good to hear. Enjoy!
Okay, I admit, I had to google what the heck crumpets were. They sound pretty tasty, especially when topped with butter and orange marmalade. (I agree with your great niece, though, those bunny crumpets look a little creepy. :O )
When I first saw them in the shop, they looked cute, Janis. But after toasting them, they took on a rather creepy look. I usually only have mine with butter.
Happy Easter.
Not sure what we’ll be having yet but I love the bunny crumpets.
Thanks, Cathy. Happy Easter.
Happy Easter, Hugh.
What are the bunnies made of? I have not seen just cookies yet, in case those are cookies.
It’s a bread mixture, so flour, eggs and water, Erika.
No, these are not cookies,; they are crumpets, something widely available in the UK.
Ok, I see! The ingredients appear like a lenten food to me. Thank you for the explanation.
I’m sure they’re very tasty! Happy Easter Hugh! No idea what we’ll be having.
Happy Easter to you too, Jan. Whatever you do have, I hope some chocolate is also on the menu.
heres mine Hugh 💜💜
Bunnie crumpets … lovely, I shall be having hot cross buns 😜😜😜
We’ll be having those too, Willow. I prefer them toasted, though.
Yes we do too 💜
I haven’t had crumpets since the last time I was in the UK! We are having ham, mac and cheese, a veggie casserole, and a pineapple cake. We bought the mac and cheese because I can’t make it better than Stouffers and my son-in-law eats a LOT!
Lol, your son-in-law is a guest I like to have over if they eat a lot. I never like any leftovers.
Enjoy your Easter meal, Noelle. And a Happy Easter to you and your family.
Same to you Hugh. I hope you have a lovely meal and celbration. My son-in-law id 6′ 3″ and has a big appetite.
I love those bunny crumpets. Nothing planned except for some baked chicken thighs. I am on my own so just a regular day for me and my cats Freddie and Tish. Happy Easter to you and your family!
I hope Freddie, Tish and you have a wonderful Easter. And I hope you treat yourself to some chocolate (if you like it?).
Happy Easter.
Those are almost too cute to eat! :D Happy Easter, Hugh.
Do you think so, Debbie. My great niece thought they were rather scary. She is only 5, though.
Happy Easter.
Good thing I read the comments, or I would have called them bunny pancakes! Yay for Easter food and fun, Hugh! Our church is having a big breakfast potluck in between two services. Hoppy Easter to you and your family! 🐇🪺💜
I’m sure the potluck Easter breakfast will be a big success, Terri.
I hope the Easter Bunny leave you some chocolate eggs on Saturday night too.
Happy Easter.
So cute, hope you enjoy them Hugh. We will have a vegan lunch on the farm and a belated birthday celebration for our daughter as well as we’re combining the two events as our Son and his family could not make it out here earlier this month for the birthday. So it will be vegan food and I am making a vegan cream cheese cake and for the rest, not sure what our DIL will have, but looking forward to it. May you have an awesome and blessed Easter weekend,
Please come and join us at #20 WW
My entry for this week, also food related but for a different species – Gotcha Food
It sounds like you have an amazing family Easter planned, Esme. I’m sure the double celebration will be lots of fun.
Happy Easter.
I will probably eat too much candy, but probably no typical easter feast dinners. It will just be a regular long-weekend for me and the roommate.
Good for you. Enjoy the long weekend and enjoy the candy.
I will 😊
bunny crumpets… priceless – I am not sure what is on the menu yet…
Whatever it is, I hope you enjoy it, Annette. At the very least, I hope there is chocolate.
Bunny shaped crumpets! I love them.
So do I. At Christmas the store that sells these sold snowmen shaped crumpets. I can’t tell you how excited I was to see them on the shelve.
so cute! we are going out for a Chinese breakfast so I have no idea )
Chinese breakfast sounds amazing. I wonder what will be on the menu? Whatever it is, enjoy.
