An interesting photo here Hugh! Where was it taken, on which beach?
On our local beach in Swansea Bay, Carol anne. It’s about a 5-minute walk away.
A strong heart just hasn’t found its way yet
Very true!
What an amazing find, Hugh! I imagine the ocean is full of treasures and I would love to know the story behind the heart. Happy Valentine’s Day!
Yes, I wonder how long it had been in the ocean and who owned it? Thanks, Eugi.
You’re welcome, Hugh! A mystery, for sure.
Have you found it there? What a lovely discovery.
Yes, found on the beach near where I live. The tide brings in many items – including hearts.
What a lovely surprise for those who see it… and you did 💖
When you’re looking for photo opportunities on a regular basis, it’s amazing what you’ll notice that you would normally miss. Photography is so great at making us see the world around us better. This is a great example of that.
Nice shot.
Thanks, Paul. I need to take my phone out with me more. But I also like to get away from carrying technology with me. I need to find a balance so I do not miss these photo opportunities.
Happy Valentine’s Day Hugh! I hope it’s a lovely day!
It was, apart from the weather. But a lovely Valentine’s Day meal bought out the sun.
Me and my girlfriend for the past 5 years.
Happy Valentines Day Hugh
Congratulations on 5 years.
Hope you had a lovely Valentine’s Day.
I lost my heart 50 years ago and he still have it in the palm of his hand, and then also lost it here: https://esmesalon.com/walk-in-the-forest/

Congratulations on the Golden anniversary, Esme.
Thanks Hugh – We know each other for more than 50 years but married 47 years in December! WOW, hard to believe it. I am the lucky one
I hope whoever lost it isn’t too upset. It’s very pretty.
I think it was washed up by the tide, Cathy. It’s surprising what the tide can wash up.
Itt really is! I wonder where it came from….I bet it has a story to tell. If only it could talk.
I agree, Cathy.
I’m hoping it was lost and not thrown down in anger and forgotten! Happy Valentines Day Hugh!
I think the heart in the photo had been washed up by the tide, Terri. When you look closely, it’s surprising what the tide washes up on the beach. I’ve even seen old plastic bottles from the 1970s being washed up. It’s a sad fact that we humans have been polluting the sea for such a longtime.
I hope you’re having a nice Valentine’s Day. I’m looking forward to valentine’s dinner in a few hours time.
Enjoy your Valentine’s dinner, Hugh!
Not counting my husband, because he is an ‘of course’, I regularly lose my heart to wounded animals, children (all sorts), and certain actors!
Yes, animals also make me lose my heart, especially when they have been treated badly by other humans. I also lost my heart to London when I first visited it. When leaving it, I told it I’d return one day to live and work there. It all came true.
I hadn’t thought of a city, but for me Prague made me lose my heart!
I visited Prague only once and enjoyed the time we had there.
It is a gorgeous city but now overrun by tourists. The best time to go is in December- the low sun makes all the buildings glow!
And I expect plenty of Christmas markets to attend?
Yes, they do now have a Christmas market in Old Town Square. We lived there during the Russian occupation, so it was pretty grim – except for the people!
