Oh, hell Yes! All those windows facing the east would go great for all the house plants that we would get. LOL!
My WW was late yesterday. Busy wet day.

It took ages for the video to load on your post. Finally got there, and that’s some heavy rain.
That’s strange. It’s a YouTube embed. YouTube dying? lol!
That was a lot of rain. It blackened the skies. This is during the daytime and it looks like night.
It’s strange, but I almost gave up on waiting for it to download, but then it did.
Must have been a YouTube thing. When I saw your comment I went to check and It loaded fine.
I sometimes experience that delay on other sites with embedded YT videos.
How’s the view? In general, I don’t think I could live with close neighbors like that. While I probably live in the smallest possible home right now, the world is my garden and I prefer space and nature around me instead of neighbors. :)
I love the thought of the world being your garden, Liesbet. Living in an apartment block has its ups and downs, but I wouldn’t want to live in one anymore. Neighbours make a huge difference. Fortunately, ours are great, and I enjoy walking their dog for them when they’re both at the office.
I don’t think I’d want to live there. Ocean views are nice… during the day. At night, it’s just a dark void. I prefer to have a view that includes lights at night. Also, I’d be worried about cliff erosion. At least where I live, the homes that are built on cliffs overlooking the ocean are pretty precarious… and some have fallen to the beach below. Yikes! But, like Terri said, it would be fun to visit for a few days!
The sea doesn’t reach the cliff these apartments are on, Janis. Although I realise there is still the possibility of weather erosion. On clear nights, there would be great views of the stars and the moon, but on cloudy nights, nothing. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the apartments in this block are summer homes rather than all-year-round homes.
If it has an ocean view, as I assume, I could do very well in there for a while… hehe.
Yes, a lovely view of a beach and a bay, Erika.
Ahhh, wonderful!
Yes without a doubt, just way too big for two people!

Oh, no! It’s an apartment block. I think it had 20 apartments.
It looks like a lovely setting, but I’m more of a blend-into-the-woods kind of guy.
Me too, Pete, although that building did catch my eye.
One more thing, Hugh! Too many stairs to get to the dog friendly beach. 😏 Christine
Fortunately, there’s also a path down to the beach with no steps, Christine.
Nope! Depending on location, rainy season and mud slides. Earthquakes. 😳🫨 No outdoor run space for two Border Aussies. No shade trees. Prefer living in a house. The View cannot make up for any of that. 🥰 Christine
There’s a dog-friendly beach below the cliff, Christine. Tempted?
Hugh, read your comment, there’s a road/ path to the beach. Walking Up and Down for older people? Don’t think so. At this point- mid 80s- in life, I’m looking for flat ground and handrails. 🙄☺️ Christine
I get you, Christine. It’s great to have discussed it with you, though.
I don’t think I would, Hugh, and I cannot understand why I feel this way. I’m not afraid of heights, so that can’t be it! LOL Cher xoxoxo
Maybe looking up rather than looking down makes you feel like that, Cher? It also looks quite bleak, being all on its own.
You know, I think that might just be it, Hugh. I hadn’t given it a thought to ‘see’ it from a different perspective. As I read in another comment, you mentioned the building looks down on a beach. And, as you said, it also looks quite bleak, being all on its own. I wonder if there are trees behind the building?
Thank you so much for reminding me to look at things with different lenses! :)
Behind the back of the apartments is a road with trees and some houses, Cher. The beach has a lovely restaurant (popular at lunchtime) and cafe that serves fantastic homemade cakes.
It sounds wonderful, Hugh! If I’m being honest, you had me at “homemade cakes!” Thank you for telling me about the area around the building.
Thank you also for providing us with a terrific prompt when looking at the photo!
You’re welcome, Cher. I always find that asking a question in a blog post title brings in the viewers and generates lots of comments.
Hugh, that is such a brilliant idea! I’m going to start incorporating it into some of my blog post titles! Thank you sooooooooooooooooo much, Hugh! Cher xoxoxo
Maybe not live there but a visit would be fun! I’d have to hire a house cleaner. Great shot, Hugh!
Thanks, Terri. These were apartments. With an art deco look, I thought.
Yes, that makes sense. Maybe live in one of those Apts as a retired person in your 80s? 😁
‘The Golden Girls’ would have loved living there.
Here’s mine Hugh.
Thanks, Willow.
Nope – I like cozy. I’m basically a Hobbit. (except my toes aren’t that hairy)
Lol, good to hear.
Yes, I could consider living there – if the climb up and down is easy 😀.
My entry here:
Thanks, PR.
Absolutely! Not a great home for my Border Collie?!
Agreed, although the beach below is dog friendly all year.
I’d get the urge to jump… The earth always calls to me and it’s so compelling!
I hope not, Willow. It’s a long way down.
Precicly Hugh a long way down 💜💜
Sure, why not! I’m up for something different, eh?
Good to hear. You’d have some wonderful views of the beach and sea.
No thanks. To much to clean. No room for a garden. Probably horribly windy most of the time. When it’s Mid-summer it would ever so hot.
I agree that there’s always air-con for the heat, but no garden space. Nice views, though.
Yes, I would live here, especially if it was overlooking the sea!
It overlooks the sea and a beautiful beach.
