Lovely.
Oh, my gosh! This just oozes with history!
I am blessed to live somewhere that offers so much history, Eugenia.
Walls of stone with lots of stories of intrigue to tell.
I love Wales too. 🙂
Yes, if only those walls could talk, Lesley.
A fortress of years gone by. I would love to be able to walk up that hill and see what one will see on the other side. Love your WWW images

Thank you, Esme. I am surrounded by so much history in Wales.
Such a beautiful part of the country I do love Wales, all of it 💜💜
I’m very lucky to live in Wales.
Yes I know you are 💜💜 🐲 🐉🐉🐉🐲🐲🐉🐉
Great description from Liesbet, Hugh. A castle surrounded by green–sublime!
Taken near one of the wettest places in the UK, Terri. No wonder everything was so green.
It sure stood the test of time despite the wet!
Does that castle sit in a hill that overlooks a footpath to a beach. I believe we past it when we stayed on the Gower some years back 💜
No, this photo was taken in North Wales, Willow. We could see Snowdon in the distance when we reached the top of the hill. All of the surrounding areas looked prehistoric.
A medieval fortress, battered by time and enemies!
That is another lovely description. You’re spot on.
Ooo, I can see the battles waging on the parapets!
Happy Wednesday 🙂

Thank you.
A tower that the higher and grander forces above us play chess with! 🙂
I like that a lot. What a great answer.
A fairy Castle 🏰

Thank you.
A castle, of course 😁
Are you sure only a castle?
