Rudolf looks exhausted. 😉
And Christmas hasn’t even started yet.
For a moment I thought it was The Yule Cat having a bad day.
I’ve not heard of the Yule cat. You must tell me more.
That’s hilarious! Love it Hugh.
Thnks, Wayne.
What a great shot Hugh. Seems like he does need a rest, but I totally agree we do need him here especially with all the snow we have.
My entry for this week

I agree that we need this guy to pull his owner’s sleigh, especially if it’s foggy on Christmas Eve.
Thanks for your Winter Wonderland entry. It looks beautiful, Esmé.
Thanks for visiting my posts, commenting and sharing, much appreciated.
It’s not even Christmas Eve and Rudolph looks too pooped to participate! Actually he reminds me of Hallmark’s character “Rodney Reindeer” which I don’t know if you had him and his reindeer family in the UK, but they were very cute. They were designed to be kind of flopsy-mopsy with their legs stretched out and belly on the ground. I had two larger ones made of a nylon material and the whole family I collected at Burger King that were made of felt. I still have them, just have not decorated since it is just me now.
Well, I did my deer post this past Monday about a skittish deer I met on a path near a rocky cliff, but today I did geese. I really don’t care for this song, but these geese adore each other so …

Yes, I’ve heard of Rodney Reindeer, Linda. One well-known store here in the UK still produces Christmas items like chocolates using Rodney Reindeer. I’ve seen Rodney Reindeer cakes, biscuits, chocolate, and yule logs. They go back to the 1990s when I remember my partner giving me a box of Rodney Reindeer chocolates.
Thank you for your link. Those are adorable geese.
That’s interesting Hugh as they have phased out Rodney Reindeer (and his family) here years ago. I thought they were sweet characters and I have a Christmas pin as well. Yes, it was back in the 90s here too.
You’re welcome – the geese are very devoted to their mates, though I’ve seen them paddling along side by side, when one takes a notion to hiss and lower its neck to the surface of the water and minutes later all is well. 🙂
Rudolph looks like he’s had one too many egg nogs… or too many reindeer games.
But I think he’s had a lot of fun along the way.
Worn out – poor guy!
The festive season started early.
I’m not sure what happened….I commented and from this end the comment seems to have evaporated into thin air?? Anyway- I had said that I thought Rudolph looks like he got kicked out of the reindeer games again. Looking very dejected. 😦 Here’s a link to my post today: https://orthodoxmom3.wordpress.com/2022/12/07/wordless-wednesday-nobodys-home/
No, it was waiting in the moderation queue, as I moderate all comments before they appear on any of my posts. I have this step in place to stop trolls and unfriendly bloggers from leaving nasty comments. It’s happened a few times, so I decided to hold all comments in the moderate queue before they appear.
As for Rudolph, I think he’s had a little too much merriment and games. But I think it was a lot of fun.
Thank you for your link.
Aw! What a sad-looking but cute Rudolph!
Thank you.
It seems the ride was a little too long this time… lol
Yes, or that the Christmas party was held earlier this year. It usually happens on Boxing Day.
Haha, that’s another possibility indeed 😂
Ha! What an intriguing character!
Thank you, Michelle.
Ooooh sooo cute.
Isn’t that Rudolf? Very funny 😄. Here’s my entry for this week – https://flightsofthesoul.wordpress.com/2022/12/07/wordless-wednesday-and-monochrome-analog-kindle/
It could well be, yes.
Thank you for joining us for Wordless Wednesday.
What a cute Christmas reindeer, sure looks like Rudolph, Hugh! He does look pooped, maybe he’s running away and resting so he doesn’t have to help pull Santa’s sleigh? Great image!
I hope Santa finds him before Christmas Eve, Terri. We need this guy if it’s foggy on Christmas Eve night.
Rudolph will need some convincing from Santa and more incentive, lol 😆
Oh dear, I hope Rudolph finds his owner before the big day!
If he doesn’t (and it’s foggy on Christmas Eve), we could be in for no presents, Cathy.
Awe? Bless.
Aww that is really cute, Hugh. Poor Rudolph!
Let me know if you find his owner, Colleen.
LOL! I’m sure he’s hanging about somewhere… maybe at the pub!
I’ve seen a few Santas about; thought there was only one, but that could be down to double-vision because of too many glasses of mulled wine, Colleen.
LOL! I love it, Hugh. I’ll raise a glass of good cheer to you and John. ❤️
So cute! Here’s mine. https://heavenssunshine.com/diagonals-in-nature/
Thank you.
I think he is hung over! Such a cute figure!
I think you’re right. Maybe that’s why he’s lost his owner?
Oooh, he looks very sad. Or pooped out (tired). Is that his tongue hanging out?
I think it is. The Christmas party he was at was a huge success, but he lost his owner.
