  1. No “dog days” for these pooches Hugh! They look like they are enjoying themselves. I see dog smiles. Are these all your dogs, or just the Corgis?

Well, my Wordless Wednesday post today is about chickens. Last year I found some wild turkeys. These chickens were at the Botanical Gardens, escapees from the Children’s Petting Farm nearby. The Petting Farm was having an event with blaring music and yodeling, so the chickens hightailed it out of there.

    1. I just have the two corgis, Linda. I’d love to have another corgi join the gang, but it’s a no from my partner (at the moment). Come rain or shine, they love their time on the beach with all their pals. It wears them out, and they sleep the rest of the morning. They have another afternoon walk and then a quick walk before bedtime. It helps keeps me fit, too.

      1. All that walking is good for all of you Hugh, so you definitely need to start marking your miles. That’s great you and your corgis have a meet-up with “friends” on the beach every day. Work on your partner for a third corgi – he’ll eventually give in … all the more pets to enjoy and spoil.

      1. Nature does a nice job with her browns, Hugh. We got 4 inches of snow yesterday afternoon, My daughter-in-law who lives in Phoenix, Arizona, is outside right now (8am my time) with her dog playing in it. Her husband was raised in Canada–he’s not impressed 😀

        1. I’m so jealous of that November snow you have, Terri. Those from hot or warm climates seem drawn to snow. I guess it’s like experiencing something for the first time. I always have to send my niece, who lives in Brisbane, Australia, videos of snow when we get it. One of the items on her bucket list is to experience a White Christmas.

        2. Seems strange to have a white Thanksgiving this year, Hugh. I think our weather folks got surprised by the three inches of accumulation in our area–I know we did! We just took a long walk with the dogs in the snow and it’s great exercise for sure!
