Hi Hugh, I had to approve your comment, which I did and left my answer to your question. It did not go to spam and never found any of your comments in my spam box.

I only ask because when comments go into an approval queue, I get a message telling me that’s what happened, but this does not happen on your blog, so I thought my comment had been marked as spam or lost.
Also, I do not get any notification when you have replied to any comments I leave on your blog posts. So unless I remember to go back and check if you have responded, I don’t know if you have replied. I leave many comments on many blogs, so I don’t always remember to go back and check. On many blogs I read, there is an option to notify users of new comments via email, so those leaving comments know when a reply has been left.
I realise your blog is self-hosted, so this may not be an option.
Hi Hugh, Thanks for your input, I will have a look to see if I can do the notify option for comments.
As for leaving a comment, once I approve a comment I will always respond to it.

Real or imagined, those mountains are beautiful, Hugh. Having lived the last 2 years in pine-covered mountains, I know why I do. I’m not a fan of flat ag lands of the California central valley where we are now. Is it wrong to be on vacation and already be longing for home? 🥴
Those mountains do look beautiful, don’t they, Terri. Shame they are nothing but the sky, which I think looks like a mountain range from how the cloud has formed.
Wrong to want to be back home amongst the pine-covered mountains. Not at all.
