You always were a giant to me 💜
Lol, thanks, Willow.
I live at the foot of a Mtn, that is what I see with a light wispy cloud. Albeit the mtn is on its side.
That must be the reason why I never saw what those wispy clouds were doing.
Great shot of the green ghost 🙂
I rather like him/her, although I wouldn’t want to meet him/her.
Both photos are spectacular. But I love the one with the leaf. The reflection of the sun draws white lines to the leaf margins.
I never noticed that sunbeam line. Thanks for pointing it out, Erika. My eyes were drawn more to the ghostly shadow figure on the leaf.
It was the first hing I noticed, and only then turned to the shadow😄
Oh my, what long legs you have! The clouds look like they’re kissing.
They do, don’t they? What a great thing to point out.
The Green Man totally reminds me of the old compass we used in math class to create angles and circles back in the day and the Green Ghost of those inflatable “people” that advertise furniture stores, dealeships, and such.
I remember those old compasses, too. And I know what you mean by those inflatable people that blow around in the wind. They always look as if they’re doing some ‘dad’ dancing.
I’d know a thing or two about dad dancing:-)
So do I.
Love these photos, dear Hugh! May I ask, are the clouds as close as they appear in your photo? I was struck by the proximity to the ground. Thank you, Hugh! Cher xoxoxo
Thank you, Cher.
The first photo was taken on a hilly footgolf course. Being on the south coast of Wales, we get lots of big white, fluffy clouds that appear as if they are close by. I took the photo on a cold day last December. Our sunny winter days are fresh and invigorating – just the kind of day I like. They also bring out all the late autumn colours, which can look beautiful.
The ghost is terrifyingly amazing 🙂
I’m glad you think so. I rather like him/her.
Yup, I see them! The first looks like a clown on stilts.
Lol, maybe it’s the creature from Stephen King’s ‘IT’.
Great shadow shots, Hugh! Is the green man an idea for another twisty tale?
We have a ‘Greenman music festival’ nearby every July, Terri. It’s shrouded in welsh fable storytelling and mystery, so you could well be right.
Oh that sounds fun!
