Too cute, Hugh. Your pics made me smile. I don’t often say personal remarks, but I admire how you look very slim and trim – even in your sweater. Most sweaters add a bit of bulk but you look great – and right after Christmas and New Years! Kudos!
These pics were taken about a month before Christmas, Marsha, so they would not have shown any evidence of my Christmas and New Year food and drink binge. However, I walk a lot every day, which all goes to help me keep healthy.
However, thank you for the lovely compliments.
I do the same. Being sick gave me a 20-pound loss head start on Christmas binging. Actually, being sick allowed me to give up sweets without effort, so that has been a way to keep my weight under control along with walking. Keep up the good work. 🙂
I’ve never seen Easter jumpers, Carol. I think you’re on to something there.
Oh they’re great fun photos Hugh!! The best part of being in England for Christmas in 2019 was being able to wear a Christmas jumper and not feeling like we were in a sauna! I love them. We have Christmas rashies (swimming tops), cycling jerseys, and pyjamas down here :). All the best for a fun time and enjoy your blogging break. I’ve just returned from about 10 days off from blogging 🙂
Thanks, Debbie. I had great fun taking these photos. Alas, the Christmas jumper is now packed away for another year (well, 11 months).
We also have Christmas pyjamas, socks, underwear and shirts. I have to stock up on Christmas socks, as Santa didn’t bring me any. I can’t think why. But I’ve managed to find some in the sales.
Hope you had a lovely blogging break. I’m back to full-time blogging from Monday.
All the best for 2022.
These made me smile, Hugh! This sweater looks really good on you. And it’s actually not ugly for Christmas sweater! Keep having fun with it and stay warm! 🙂
How festive, Hugh! I like how your version of “sweater” is “jumper!” I still have my “ugly sweater” but it is packed still. Funny, I didn’t think it was ugly but my daughters said otherwise. I actually like yours and would encourage Hans to wear one like it in public 🙂 Fun stuff!
I hope you can find him one, if not for this Christmas, then for next Christmas, Terri. I wore mine around town yesterday and got lots of smiles – hopefully for the jumper, not me.
I remember wearing those types of Christmas jumpers, Noelle. These days, Christmas jumpers seem to have calmed down a lot. I still see the odd one that makes me want to look away, but I guess it’s all about the fun.
Thanks, Colleen. Yes, this is my time of the year. Let the fun begin, although it already has with me.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to Ron and you.
xx
Thanks, Hugh. We’re in the middle of a first floor renovation. It’s been a challenge but so worth it! Merry Christmas to you and John. I’m sending huge hugs your way. ❤️🎄
To rephrase John Dutton on Yellowstone (You do watch that, don’t you–isn’t it great!), “I am the wall ‘fashion’ hits and I will not be the one that breaks.”

Great Jumper, Hugh…Love it! Plus it looks like you had fun wearing it…Happy New Year 🙂
I did, Carol. Alas, it’s now packed away for 11 months.
Happy New Year to you.
Thank you, Hugh.. Christmas and New Year is soon over and then its Easter.. I hope you have an Easter jumper ready and waiting to wow us with.. 😀

I intend to, Liesbet. Glad it made you smile. Thanks, Liesbet.

Very dapper, dear boy. Quite the elf…
Thank goodness I read that as ‘elf.’
Haha – I love it! Thanks for sharing 🙂
You’re welcome. I figured it would cheer everyone up.
It did! 🙂
Well, you’ve shown us! Looks like lots ‘o fun! 🙂 x
‘Fun’ should have been my middle name. In fact, I think it is, but I’ll have to find my birth certificate to double-check.
It seems a whole lot of fun 😂
It is. I’ll be wearing it until Twelfth night.
You know, I love that. Maybe we should start this Christmas jumper idea too 😄
Go for it. I wore mine around town today. Produced lots of smiles.
That’s really cool. Going shopping tomorrow and I will look out for something “nice” 😁
Let the merriment begin!
I think they already have.
Hugh, this is a very sedate Christmas sweater. The ones we used to have would make you blush – they were hideous!
I remember wearing those types of Christmas jumpers, Noelle. These days, Christmas jumpers seem to have calmed down a lot. I still see the odd one that makes me want to look away, but I guess it’s all about the fun.
You look so sweet, Hugh!
As sweet as a mince pie?
Absolutely!
Awww, Hugh! I got a big smile when I saw these photos. I know you love Christmas. Happy Christmas, my friend. ❤
Thanks, Colleen. Yes, this is my time of the year. Let the fun begin, although it already has with me.

This is a really nice sweater Hugh! I guess one can have a whole lot of fun in it 😆
Thank you. I certainly felt very festive and ‘funny’ when I put it on. I’ll be wearing it a lot more between now and Twelfth Night.
This is inspiring me to pull out something colorful to wear as well :)..love this!
Thank you. I always believed that you’ll have an excellent day if you feel good about what you’re wearing.
You rock that sweater. Have fun.
Thanks, Darlene.

Never heard of it, no. But we have so many channels and streaming services now; it’s probably there somewhere.
Hope I have as much fun with mine 😉
As soon as you put it on, the fun begins, Cathy.
Apparently, quite a lot of fun! Great sweater/jumper Hugh.
Thank you. It certainly brings out the festivities in me.
