Nice shot Hugh, it’s good that you like to get ‘down and personal’ with your subjects. Makes a big difference. (I must get myself involved with this Wordless Wednesday thing!).
Thanks, Paul. I’ve been told my photography has improved a lot since I started participating in Wordless Wednesday. It helps that the camera on the phone I take my photos on keeps getting better and better.
I have to admit I’m a bit of a photography snob, I like an DSLR and haven’t given much credence to phone cameras, but they are getting better and I find myself using mine more and more.
Well I’m sorry, but with the title and the image – my mind went to the gutter. LOL. I’ll stop there. ❤
Ooo! X-rated stuff, Debby. My mind usually goes there when I’m writing my short stories.
Lolllllllllll, I can’t be the only one with the warped sense of humor! 🙂 xx
Very cute! I wonder who lives there? Is this in your garden, Hugh?
Yes, taken in our back garden, Liesbet. We’ve had lots of rain over the last couple of weeks, so they’ve appeared every day.
A great photo Hugh 💜
Thanks, Willow.
Nice photo.
Thank you.
The question is: Is it edible?
I wouldn’t even have a go at trying to find out. Too many poisonous mushrooms out there. I’ll leave them for the elves.
Great take, Hugh!
Thank you, Erika.
You are welcome, Hugh!
Could be an umbrella or an elf’s home!
True, but it wasn’t raining at the time, so maybe it was a sun umbrella for an elf?

I’m amazed by how much the iPhone camera has progressed, Paul. Now I just need to remember to take my phone everywhere with me.
Simplicity at its best, Hugh!
Thanks, Terri. I’m finding lots of new features with taking pictures on my iPhone 12.
Aha, it’s amazing what the newer phone cameras can do!
So beautifully captured, Hugh!
Thank you, Maggie. I was delighted with the capture when I took the photo this morning.
And well you should be. It is a great photo.
That’s beautiful!
I’m glad you think so, Dan, because nobody else in my household seems to think so.
We’ve had so much rain this summer that mushrooms are everywhere. I’ve taken lots of photos, but I’m not sure any were this good.
Same here. Lots of rain this summer, so everything that likes water is doing well.
Small wonders all around!
Yes, I agree. You just have to look at them more closely.
