  1. What happened to that poor tree? It reminds me of butch haircuts in the 1950s. That’s probably what happened. Some gardener in the 1950s didn’t know what he was doing, shaved the poor tree, and the tree died. It’s a very cool picture, Hugh.

    1. Thanks, Marsha. The tree was blown down in a big storm in the 1980s, but somebody decided to create some art out of what was left. It’s a strange sight but better than leaving nature to what was left.

  2. Yay you have joined us again for Squares, and what a TreeSquare you found. Will it survive the cropping or is the cropping a way of valuing it after it has given up?!

    1. Yes, just slid in before the end of the challenge, Becky. I have meant to enter, but other things got in the way.
      I think what was once a tree has been turned into some form of art.
