Hi Hugh, I chose this post to link to the June attendance roster for Story Chat even though it’s not story chatty. I like that it shows the colorful side of you. I love the photo. I would never have thought of a colorful shadow. The title definitely caught my eye and the photo did not disappoint. 🙂
Thanks, Marsha. I got lucky with this photo because I found myself in the right place at the right time. I don’t think I’d ever seen a colourful shadow until I saw this one.
I’ve seen prisms before, but nothing like what you discovered. Maybe a stained glass window would do that, but I can’t remember seeing anything that colorful. 🙂
Excellent Hugh! I think yours was the only colorful shadow this week! Hadn’t thought of something like that. It’s wonderful
Thank you. It’s great when I get told that I’m the only one to have tackled a challenge from a different perspective, Tina. I thought the shot was perfect for the challenge. The sun shone at the right moment for me.
Oh! Fascinating!
Thank you.
Wow. Great shot!
Thanks, John.
love the colors and shade and shadows
Thank you. I was in the right place at the right time.
Excellent and smart! Well done.
Thank you, Leya. I’m glad you enjoyed my entry for this week’s challenge.
You are very welcome.
What a nice piece and great photography, Hugh!
Thanks, Terri. I was lucky to be in the right place at the right time.
That’s half the battle 😁
That photo grabs your attention!
Thanks, Geoff. I think so too.
How beautiful! 🙂
Thanks, Ruth.
I had to look twice, Hugh. I initially thought there were two colorful bowls. Pretty shadow!
I was delighted with the outcome of this shot, Liesbet. I never believed shadows could be different colours.
