Yes, just a few minutes walk away, Liesbet. It’s some playing fields. Football in the winter, cricket in the summer. Usually, only used on Saturday and Sunday morning. We tend to visit in the afternoons when we have the place to ourselves.
Very true, Diana. Come rain or shine, we have to be out walking when we have dogs. It was a beautiful day, but very cold that day. My kind of day, though.
Walking the dog is a good exercise. Thank you 😊
I agree. Thank you.
You are welcome!
Looks nice!
Thank you.
Nothing like a walk along a babbling brook!
Thank goodness they can’t get to it. It’s down a steep bank, and they’d never be able to make it back up.
I love such places so much!
So do we, especially when we’re the only ones there.
That is the best part!!
Great photos. I had to look carefully to find Toby and Austin!
You saw Austin as well? I can only see Toby, but maybe Austin is behind one of those trees.
I love cold weather for walking, and what a beautiful place to chase after your dog!
Toby is not one for chasing anymore. Austin (who is not in the photo) is the active one. He loves chasing a tennis ball.
Looks like a peaceful walk – my kind of dog walk. 🙂 Is this close to your home, Hugh?

It looks like a beautiful sunny day, Hugh. One of the many wonderful things about dogs is the way they get us outside (even if it’s cold!).

Hi Hugh, that is a beautiful place to walk with your dog.
We’re so lucky to have it on our doorstep, Lea. Just a few minutes walk away.
That looks like a lovely walk, Hugh.
Not far from where we live, Cathy. Huge playing fields which hardly get played on (apart from Toby and Austin).
Nothing like a lovely walk in nature with our pups, Hugh. Beautiful!
These are the best times of the day, Terri. The temp that day was only 4c (39f), so the weather looks deceiving (unless you like it cold – like me).
