Now I need a hot cup of tea Hugh! Lol. x
White, no sugar, for me, please, Marje.
Ha ha! Still haven’t had my breakfast… Too busy blogging, off to do it now Hugh. It would be lovely to see you. And all the bash guys and gals. Missing those get togethers. Take care. x
Yes, it was just as well that we decided not to have a Bloggers Bash this year, Marje. Given the current world, I don’t know when it might happen again, but at least we have the blogging community at hand. I know it’s not as good as seeing each other in person, but my fingers are crossed that the days of meeting up again will happen.
Brr, too early to see that 🙂
Our autumn is already here. My favourite season is visiting me early. I enjoy seeing her.
Oh I love autumn Hugh. Just a tad early because I know what comes too soon after the leaves turn here lol. Brrrr. 🙂
Beautiful, Hugh. I love “frost ferns.”
Me too, Diana. They’re one of mother natures most interesting features.
Magic. 😀
Beautiful ice patterns!
Thank you.
Good gravy! Snow already?
No, the snowy photos were taken in December 2017. I’m hoping we get snow this winter.
Hi Hugh. I hope you get snow as well. I’m just hoping for rain right now. Even fog and drizzle would be good. So tired of smoky skies.
I hope rain, drizzle and fog reach you soon.
Great photos Fall is coming, Then I hibernate
Stay well and Laugh when you can
I tend to hibernate in the summer when it’s too hot and humid. I’m just about to wake up.
Well then Welcome Back
Later this winter, I’m likely to see frost and snowy landscapes, Hugh! For now, I will enjoy the virtual cold as we prepare for more record-breaking heat over our Labor day weekend 😐
Have fun with Sunday Stills this weekend and I will look forward to seeing your post! And thank you again for hosting.
In the UK, we’ve just had our final holiday weekend before Christmas, Terri. I can’t believe I’m saying that. It was sunny and cool (mid 60f), so it suited me. And our weather has now turned rather autumnal. I can already see the trees changing colour.
I’m looking forward to hosting Sunday Stills for the next two weeks. I’m working on the first post today.
Hope you’re well and staying safe from wildfires, smoke and invisible enemies. I’m looking forward to hearing all your news.
Take care.
That gave me shivers… haha.
I’m looking forward to my walks on chilly mornings.
Then time is definitely working for you, Hugh 😄
I do love a crispy winter walk 😊 lovely Brrrr photos!
Same here, Sam. Especially the early morning winter walks.
Oh my, Hugh. I know it’s coming but don’t think I’m quite ready yet. Thanks for the reminder, though.
You’re welcome, Pat. I’m more of an autumn lover. 🍁
Thanks Hugs. Me too. I love them all . . . it’s just this summer has flown by and don’t know what happened to it. Was weird this year.
Agreed, Pat. I’ve found that as I have grown older, my life has become like a toilet roll. The nearer I get to the end, the quicker it seems to run out. I won’t mention the Christmas cards I’ve already seen being advertised. Oh, too late. Happy autumn.
Yes, Hugh. Guess you got to be older to understand. My take on time is like we chug up the hill most of our lives and then reach the top. Then, as we decide to descend we barrel down, sometimes in a free fall. Just taking it all in and enjoying the ride seems so much faster coming down than going up.
Have a good weekend and, if you celebrate Labor Day over there, enjoy your long holiday weekend.
I like your take on time, Pat.
In the UK, we had our late summer bank holiday weekend last weekend. It always falls on the last Monday of August. Enjoy yours.
I’m looking forward to seeing scenes like this – not right away, but we didn’t have much of a winter last year and this summer has been way too hot and dry.
Apart from one week, our summer has been cool and wet. We already have signs of autumn here with leaves changing colour. I hope we get a decent snowfall this winter. These were taken in December 2017.
That’s definitely a winter walk 😉 Are these from down your way, Hugh? Love the ice ones too.
Yes, taken in December 2017, Cathy. That was the last time we had what I would call a significant snowfall in South Wales. The ones of the frost on the windscreen of the car were taken in March (just before lockdown).
We didn’t have a winter like that, but what we had is going.
I hope you had a good winter, Norah. Enjoy the upcoming spring.
It was a different one, Hugh, that’s for sure.
