One of those views is from the house, but the other is from my hotel room at a hotel I once stayed at, Liesbet. I guess we can all workout which is which.
Lovely views, Hugh. I particularly love the first one. I seem to be having trouble with likes option at the moment, it’s not loading on several blogs. I ‘like’ via the reader whenever I can.
I noticed the like and reblog buttons were not loading on this post when it went live, Cathy. Thanks for letting me know. I’ve contacted WordPress about it. Fingers crossed they’ll get it sorted quickly. In the meantime, yes, at least we can still ‘like’ posts from the WP Reader.
I certainly don’t see the stunning backdrop that you do. So jealous! Gorgeous! ❤
Thanks, Debby. I’m fortunate to have a view like the first one. It’s hard to believe that we live only 2 miles away from the city centre.
What a gorgeous location Hugh. Stay blessed 🙂 x
A lovely view well framed by tree branches. Unfortunately all I can see out my window is smoke! Hopefully not for too much longer.
My fingers are crossed that the smoke will soon clear for you.
Such lovely artistic shots, Hugh. Like beautiful oil paintings, both 🙂
That’s so kind, thank you, Sarah. All taken on an iPhone. I’ve not edited them in any way, either.
What wonderful views Hugh!
Thanks, Debbie. `they’re spectacular, aren’t they?
Wow, Hugh. You seem to live on a big property. I love the open spaces in the second photo!

We sure can! I also remember you mentioning how nice the sunrise (or was it sunset, or both) is, seen through your window. 🙂
Sunrises. I’m more of a fan of sunrises than sunsets.
That’s what I thought. You’re the early bird. 🙂
Wow, Hugh, if I had that view I wouldn’t go anywhere! So idyllic! Gorgeous shots.
Thanks, Terri. One of the views I get to see every day. The other was taken out of the window of my room at a hotel I once stayed at.
Woo absolutely beautiful Hugh 💜
Thank you, Willow.
A pleasure Hugh💜
I love the colours of the first picture, Hugh.
Thanks, Robbie. Those are the colours of winter sunrises.
Love that first picture. The sunset and winding road, makes you want to go walkabout 🙂
I’ve had a walkabout thousands of times up and down that winding road. Keeps me active.
Gorgeous!
Thank you.
Great view Hugh
Stay well and Laugh
Thank you so much.
