Great perspective on this one, Hugh. Nicely framed. It looked like a nice sunny day for a walk 🙂
It was one of the odd, beautiful, sunny days we’ve had this summer so far, Mabel. I’m not complaining, though. I dislike too much heat.
Hope all is well with you in Melbourne. Stay safe.
A lovely photo, Hugh. There’s a story for sure. 🙂
Thanks, Diana. Yes, I’m sure there’s a story in there somewhere. But it’s all locked up during lockdown. Hopefully, I’ll find that story soon.
That could be a great photo for one of your short stories Hugh!
Thanks, Debbie. I don’t often look at my photo library for inspiration for writing. Maybe I need to give it a try.
Looking over any wall makes me wonder is the wall there to keep people out or to keep someone or thing inside ?
I think precisely the same way when I see a padlock on a gate, door or building.
Looks mysterious. If walls could talk 🙂 x
Mysterious, so it needs Hugh to explore it some more (as soon as it reopens its doors during the lockdown).
Ooooh, you have my attention 🙂 x
Great image, Hugh. What a beautiful structure, and cool to have it so close to you!
I need to explore that building a little more, Terri. I’m not sure it’s open to the public at the moment (because of COVID19 lockdown), but I’ll certainly have to check it out once it does reopen its doors.
Peeking over the rocks…..what is over there, Hugh? This would be a great opening for a movie! Excellent photo as always, dear Hugh! Cher xo
Thank you, Cher. I never thought about it as an opening to a movie. It could go either way, couldn’t it? A rom-com with a wedding going on in that church, or a teen-slasher, horror movie with something evil lurking inside.
It really could, High! LOL Perhaps a combo of both! Now there’s a story over that wall! 😉 xoxo
I still can’t find the second dragon! 😀
I can’t even find the first one.
This is really cool! Love the perspective!
Thank you so much.
Wondering how the church bell sounds!
I don’t think I’ve ever heard it, even though it’s only about half a mile from where I live.
I feel like a child, peering over that wall!! Great shot, Hugh.
I know what you mean, Liesbet. Fortunately, the wall wasn’t as tall as me, so I didn’t have to go on tip-toe. I just loved the shot presenting itself to me. Thank you.
ooh that stick looks like a person – so many stories to tell
I keep spotting something new every time I take a closer look at the photo.
What makes a great photo 🙂
Lovely photograph. I see 5 crosses
Yes, I spotted those crosses too, although one was hard to spot.
This is a lovely photograph.
Thank you.
Two dragons dancing. Great photo Hugh 💜
Thank you, Willow.
