Love the placement of the bench. A perfect place to view the surroundings.
Thank you, Colline. It’s the perfect spot for a sitdown to reflect.
So serene, Hugh. I love that blue sky and peaceful sea.
Thanks, Diana.
I guess I go a different route. My first thought is to say “Nothing to be done”. 😊
That’s cool. We all need some time for relaxation and to clear our minds of everything.
A lovely view, Hugh! These make such great images to inspire the imagination!
Thank you, Terri. We’re very fortunate to have this view right on our doorstep.
What a stunning image. You can see the serenity sweep through in the photo ❤
Isn’t it a magical view, Debby? I’m very lucky to be living so close to that bench and view.
You most certainly are! xx
Beautiful, Hugh. This could be a painting 🙂
Yes, I think it would make a great painting, Aimer. Or be on the front of a greetings card.
LOL, yes 🙂
Another great one! Awesome photograph that tells an even better story👍
Thanks, Josh.
Looks like a wonderful spot … but I have to wonder, if the tide’s that far out, how high does it get when it’s in? 🙂
The UK has one of the highest tidal differences in the world. There are occasions when the tide swallows up the whole beach, so you can’t walk on it.
Such a wideness and peacefulness this picture radiates. I think I could sit there for hours emptying my mind.
That bench is rarely unoccupied, Erika. Even during the winter months, it seems to attract people. I guess it’s all about the view.
I can imagine well. It is such an inspiring place!
So beautiful! I wish I was sitting on that bench! 😂👍
Close your eyes, and you could be.
Looks like a place I would love to sit and ponder. Love that perspective too! 🙂
It’s a lovely spot, that is rarely unoccupied.
The pandemic has changed everything.
Beautiful 🤩
Thank you.
A wonderful spot. You and Becky have inspired me for tomorrow.
I always love it when somebody tells me I’ve inspired them. It’s a huge compliment. Thank you.
Well that looks amazing so quiet and peaceful 😊
Not always like that, Willow. That bench and the beach are rarely unoccupied.
I am not at all surprised 💜
You and the tree had a lovely perspective. Is this winter or it the tree a snag?
Unfortunately, the tree had died and got cut down because it became a hazard.
A beautiful view, Hugh and lovely to have it so close to home.
Yes, just a 10-minute walk for me, Cathy. Shame the bench is really unoccupied.
Beautiful pic, Hugh – I’d bring a book and be content on that bench for hours.
I’ve rarely seen that bench empty, Teri. I think we know why that is.
Wish I was sitting there now! What a glorious perspective
It’s a lovely spot, but the bench is often full when I pass it.
awww that’s a shame. Guess it is summer though
At anytime of the year, this bench seems to be occupied. I guess it’s the view.
It is rather splendid
What a beautiful spot. I’ll take a seat right now and stay a while… Is this photo taken near where you live, Hugh? Those seem like big hills in the distance.
Yes, it’s about a 10 walk from where we live, Liesbet. Very unusual to get a shot of it with no people sat there and nobody on the beach.
The hills lead to mountains, which can be bleak during the winter months. We often see them covered in snow, while it’s dry and mild in the bay where we live.
