        1. I have not had any pingback notification, but I do know that there have been problems with pingbacks recently. I would advise you to copy and paste the link to the post in a new comment.

  1. I’m so glad I discovered your new (fairly new?) music challenge, Hugh. Friends and family lost loved ones this week. I always think of Drift Away to soothe the soul in times like this. https://3rsofretirement.com/2019/05/12/weekend-music-share/

  2. How wonderful to have a special song to remember the birth of your great niece. There are many songs that remind me of different occasions, but I’ll perhaps mention Angie by the Rolling Stones which was very popular and Hub and I used to play on the Jukebox when we were first going out. If that’s not showing my age, I don’t know what will! 🙂

    1. Absolutely. A song I have heard before, but don’t hear much anymore. The video was great too, although those dancers must have had so much energy with the way they were moving around that stage he was on.
      Thanks for sharing.

  3. I do like that Tears For Fears song!
For me it’s this En Vogue song…
From my relationship beginnings as we were both in other relationships and trying to be friends… But that wasn’t to be!

      1. Lol thanks Hugh!!! I did write a post about it once, as a guest post… Fi ding your true love , no matter what the situation… If it’s meant to be, eh!

        1. The only reason I don’t is because too many people I know, know, read it, and I can’t rub it in Pops and mums face lol!!!

    1. I’ve said it before, but I believe music is a powerful source of memory. I have recently been reading that it evens helps those with dementia.

Excellent choice of song, Darlene, and a lovely connection as to why it’s a special song to you.
