“A compelling set of tales that take you from warmed cockles to frozen hopes via laugh out loud funny through the frankly bizarre and back again. The truth app is a stunning story, but it would be invidious to single out just one in what is a fine first collection.” – gip – 21st February 2017

“I found the short stories in this book to be a reminiscence of the Outer Limits TV show. The setting appears to be normal everyday situations. However, they each have a startling twist to them. Some such as The Bridegroom has a dramatic twist and it is the first of a four-part story that is a murder mystery. The short stories in this book cover the gamut of genres including ghost stories, horror, comedy, sci-fi, fantasy, supernatural, drama and thrillers. These 28 short stories in this book are sure to have something for everyone.
If I had to choose my favourites, I would say the Truth App which is a science fiction that revolves around a group of bloggers who become the victim of an app which threatens to wipe out humanity. I Believe in Father Christmas a supernatural tale of what happen when a little boy faces the consequence of telling his little sister there is no Father Christmas. Of course, there were other that I also liked such as Lipstick and Ticket to ‘Where’.
Truthfully I liked all of them they are well written and easy to read. I downloaded it and did not stop until I had finished. When I pick up a book and can not put it down until I have finished, it is my idea of a good book.” – Dyanna – 14th January 2017

“I read this recently and was amazed at the variety of plots within its pages. It certainly kept me desperately wanting to go to the next story to see what surprises were in store and I galloped through it. The book comprised a capsule of life (and death) snapshots that had unforeseen ways through which the reader was led. A rewarding and exciting read.” – SoOccassionalNow – 6th January 2017

  1. What I love about your book is that you can pick it up and put it down again, and when you’re busy and constantly interrupted by small kids you don’t miss out because you have just enough time to read another story. I will be finishing your book this month, it’s amazing, everyone needs to read it 😀 xx

    1. Thanks, Sacha. Many people have said the same about being able to dip in and out of the book. I guess ‘The Truth App’ is one where that can not be done, but I’m certainly delighted with all the reviews Glimpses has been getting.
Thanks for reading it and I hope you still enjoy it as much by the time you finish that last story. ❤️

  2. Ah! I almost did this on the same day. What a wonderful way to celebrate World Book Day! (And, in America, Dr. Seuss Day / Read Across America Day.) Already have my copy of Glimpses but will share. 🙂
