If you would like a copy signed by me, the author, then leave me a message in the comments section and I’ll get back to you. Amazon doesn’t offer paperback versions in all countries, so I’d be delighted to sell and send you a paperback copy.

The Kindle version will be available from 6th December 2016 and is available to pre-order.

To all of you – Thank you so much for making this dream come true for me. Without your support and encouragement to continue with my writing, Glimpses would never have been created.

Watch out for a competition that I’ll be announcing, here on my blog this weekend, to celebrate the launch of the book.

    1. Thanks very much, Sarah. It’s been a whirlwind of a week since the paperback was published last week. Enjoying every moment, though.
My cover designer was George Grey. Introduced to me by another blogger. If you’d like me to put you in touch with him then please just ask.

  1. Hugh – congrats – I saw your post on marsha’s blog and wanted to say congrats –
I have a book coming out this month (my third ) and it feels exciting here too
Anyhow – your cover art is awesome – really intriguing and matches the title and vibe –
    Again – congrats

    1. Hello Prior. Thank you very much. Marsha came over to the blog party I started last Saturday and which finished yesterday. So, I’ve not known her long, but she’s already made a lovely impression. Like me, she is dyslexic and it’s always great to connect with people who have the condition.

Good luck with the upcoming book. I’m looking forward to publishing book 2 later next year. If it’s anything like publishing your first book and the sheer joy that brings, then I’m in for another great time. 😀

Yes, the artwork for this first book is truly amazing. I’m so very happy with it. My book cover designer came up with all the ideas. I’ve already hired him for book 2. 😀

      Have a great weekend.

        1. Well I am super backlogged on my books to get to – but I am going to check aor is your blog and peruse more of your writing – I used to come by here a while back to see some photo posts for your challenge – anyhow – be back to check it out! And congrats again – from what I have perceived – you have many books in you and the world needs good writers putting out their stuff – it is nutrient for humanity – 😉

        2. I had to stop the photo challenges while I got the book together, but I may bring it back in the New Year. As they say, ‘watch this space’📸
Thank you so much. Those are very encouraging words and such nice comments. I’ll certainly be continuing with my writing. There’s no doubt about that.
Wishing you a great week ahead.
          My best wishes.

  2. Wait what? I thought it was the 6th? ANYWAY, Hugh, what can I say? Massive swell of pride hopping over and seeing this post. I think this has to be the best post you have ever written. What a hero you are. An inspiration, A FREAKING AUTHOR DUDE. YOU ARE AN AUTHOR. Whose popping corks and drenching you in champagne? I am thrilled for you I really am. I shall certainly be buying a copy 😀 ❤

    1. Cheers, Sacha. Yes, I’ve finally done it and have joined the dizzy heights of being a published author. Can’t believe I started this journey way back when I wrote that very first short story here on my blog and then sat down on June 27th, 2016, and wrote a post saying ‘Thank you, and goodbye for now’ while I started putting the book together. And, would I do it all again? You bet I would. In fact, I’m now working on the second book.

The 6th December is the day the Kindle version becomes available. An inspiration? Well, that’s lovely to say, but if it were not for the fantastic blogging community on here then Glimpses would never have seen the light of day. 😇

And I can’t end this by not saying thank you for all the encouragement you gave me and for all those writing and marketing tips posts you wrote. I took a lot of notice of them and worked to them.
