The WordPress Weekly Photography Challenge – Edge

Here are my photos for this week’s WordPress photography challenge which has the theme of Edge. All these photos were taken at The Grand Canyon.

Walking out over the canyon on that glass platform is not for the faint-hearted. Yes, I did do it. I’m sure the lady taking the photo kept telling that man to keep moving back!

Many people took great delight in just sitting on the edge.

See the lady in the top left-hand corner of this photo? She was in a world of her own. Who can blame her?

This is as close as I got to the edge of the Grand Canyon.

I hope you enjoyed being close to the Edge with me.

  1. Great story and post. I spend much of my life sitting on the edge. In some ways, that part of a decision to live life to the full but my health challenges have taken me there too many times too.
My daughter has quite a fear of heights but she ends up having to join us and it’s getting better. Wasn’t happy going on the Ferris wheel at the Royal Sydney Easter Show but just returned from a school camp and was saying how she’d tried all the activities although there were times abseilling where she was curled up in a ball. So proud of how she’s edging away at overcoming her fears. She’s only ten and doing better at it than her Mum.
Hope you have a great weekend.
    xx Rowena
