Hugh’s Weekly Photo Challenge: Week 22 – Group

What do you call a group of bloggers? I guess you can call them anything you like, but one thing I do know is that when you put a group of them together, happiness and laughter spreads and they end up having a great time.

This photo was taken at last year’s Annual Bloggers Bash. It was the first time most of these people had met each other, but look how happy everyone is.

The First Annual Bloggers Bash

Within minutes, these people were chatting and laughing with each other as if they had known each other for years. All those nerves of meeting for the first time were forgotten. Everyone was happy that contact had been made and the smiles were evident throughout the day.

For this week’s challenge show me what Group means to you. Maybe it’s a pop group or a group of people all of whom have something in common? Maybe it’s a group of animals or a group of objects in a store?

Want to join the fun? Here’s what you need to do.

1. Take or choose a photo that you’ve taken which, for you, depicts Group.
2. Create a new post on your blog entitled “Hugh’s Weekly Photo Challenge: Week 22 – “Group”
3. Add the photo(s) you have taken to the post and tell us a little about what you are showing.
4. Create a *pingback to this post or leave a link to your post in the comments section below so that other participants can view the post.

Not sure how to create a pingback? Click here for a step by step guide on how to create one.

*As Pingbacks have not been working on WordPress over the last few weeks, please leave a link to your post in the comments section so I and other participants can view the post.

Last week’s challenge was all about the word fresh and what it meant to you. The photo I posted of a fresh fruit salad inspired many of you to also post photos of food and, as always, I was amazed by what you all came up with. Here are the five entries I’ve chosen to showcase.

Dennis, at A Trivial Mind At Work, shows us what the freshness of the day can bring. The beautiful blue sky in his photos alone shows us just how refreshing and wonderful a new day can be.

Aletta, at Now At Home, showed us a photo of a beautiful homemade dessert. The colours and ingredients she used, gives the photo a huge refreshing look.

Robyn, at Just Bits And Pieces, shows us something which ,for me, is so refreshing especially during the Summer months. They may look rather dull before being cut open, but what freshness awaits when you take that first bite.

It was freshly cut grass, fresh daisies, and fresh cream that Ritu, at But I Smile Anyway, gave us but, thank goodness, not all served at the same time. I like the variety she gave for the word fresh, as well as the wonderful haikus she always includes.

Marje, at Kyrosmagica, got a beautiful bunch of fresh flowers from a friend who she invited over for dinner. They look lovely and colourful and when Marje mentioned that fresh pasta had been on the menu that evening, I invited myself over for dinner.

Thank you to everyone that entered photos for the challenge. If you did not leave a link to your post then you can still leave one. Don’t forget to leave a link to your post until WordPress have fixed the current Pingback problem.

Entries for this week’s challenge are open until Monday 25th April 2016.

Next week’s challenge is being hosted by my very good friend, Ronovan, of RonovanWrites. Ron will select five entries for showcasing when he announces the next challenge and I know he’s looking forward to seeing what you all come up with. Have fun!
