Fatal Grammatical Attraction-Poetry for Hugh.

Another installment of Ronovan’s views about things. I’m not so much into the news. Depressing as it all seems to be. Today I wanted to share what I call lyrical poetry. This is written especially for and about our dear friend Hugh. Hugh means a lot to me. Anyone following him and me probably have figured out over time that we have a bond. We’re not sure how it all happened, but here we are. I don’t question the good things in life. Hope you enjoy.~Ronovan

Knock Knock, one two three,
Is there a better friend ever could be?
You skipped . . . into our lives,
Making sure each spirit revives.

Do we all know how it happened?
This fatal grammatical attraction.
Spreading your words from the city of Hove.
Bringing from us the stereotypical British by Jove. (ugh)

Your absence makes the heart grow fonder,
Even as the minds of your fans do fret and ponder.
Don’t worry, I got your back.
No matter whatever will be the attack.

Malaise, vacation, melancholy, or grief,
I’m always here to cover the territory of the Big Chief.
Perhaps it’s because we’re Red Brothers.
Deeper than skin, closer than blood like some others.

Periodically, methodically, a dichotomy or logically.
We’re the two crew who blows away the ideologically.
Take your time and keep your mind and heart looking straight.
No worries, no hurries, your friends are here,
. . . and we will wait.
Peace, Admiration, and Respect to the man called Hugh.
Know that each and every one of us . . . truly loves you.

To the readers of Hugh, he is safe, healthy, and wise. He is simply taking a break for a brief time period. There is no reason to worry about him. Do not let my presence here cause any fretting or ponder. 🙂

As for the Red Brother mention, I think the reasons for that should be obvious. Also some call Native Americans Red Man. I am part Choctaw. Thus I am part Native American. I know I don’t look it but, oh well. Why could I not get the ability to tan?!

  1. Thanks for letting me us know Hugh ok. There has been a Hug-shaped hole in my blog feed and I was wondering if it was me or him. Nice to know it isn’t anything to worry about, and hope he comes back to us all as soon as he can.
