Ronovan’s Weekly Haiku Challenge – Field & Beacon

Every week, Ronovan sets a weekly haiku challenge over on his blog and anyone participating can be sure of a big welcome.  It’s great fun and even somebody like me, who never thought of ever writing a haiku, can come away feeling very satisfied with what the creative mind produces.  Why not come over and join us?

This week the words Ronovan asked us to use were Field and Beacon.

I’ve called my haiku Field of life.

Weekly Haiku Challenge - Field & Beacon

Beacon of my dreams

Field of love and joyfulness

Keep shinning your light

    1. Thanks, Colleen.

I feeling a bit wiped out this evening with all the guests at my blog hop party. It’s been a really busy day. I’ll get around to catching up with you and the Swamp Fairy stories as soon as the party is over…I promise. 🙂

      1. No problem Hugh. It has been busy here as well with the last of our renovations finally completed. You visit when you can. 💖🍷🍹It was an excellent party Hugh. I loved seeing everyone!

      2. I’m really pleased to hear you are all finished with the painting and work in the house, Colleen. Hopefully you can sit back now and enjoy it all.

There’s still another day of my blog party to go, and people are still arriving. I never dreamt it would be this busy, but it’s been great fun.

Thanks for being the first to kick it all off. I really do appreciate all your support. ❤

  1. Nice. So many of the poems I’ve been reading on various blogs have been depressing. It’s a pleasure to read something upbeat.
Is it redundant to say, “I heart the heart”? 🙂
