Writer’s Quote Wednesday

Yes I know it’s Thursday, but I only heard this quote on the radio today.  It’s had such a big impact on me that I had to share it with you all.

So, which one are you?

    1. You’re very welcome, Colleen. It’s had such a huge impact on me since I heard it being quoted on the radio this morning. I’ve not been able to get it out of my mind and just had to share it, so your Writer’s Quote Wednesday feature was the perfect place to do just that 🙂

    1. Absolutely………………..not 🙂 You bring nothing but happiness to everyone reading your blog. I’ve never known a quote affect me so much as this one I heard this morning. As Colleen said ‘it really makes you look at yourself’ and those words of Mr Wilde are just so powerful.

  1. Fantastic quote. I had to re-read it to understand it fully . Funny how two sentences with similar-sound words can mean totally different things. I suppose those who bring positivity wherever they are are those who are selfless and have a kind heart. Thanks for sharing.

    1. Yes, a few people have told me they had to re-read the quote beacuse the words are so simular, but I just loved this quote so much after haering it yesterday that I had to share it on here. I just love it beacuse it really makes you think which of the two you are or want to be.
Thanks for stopping by, Mabel. Itr’s always a pleasure to see you here.

      1. Sometimes we can’t help but be both depending on our how we are feeling. We all have our limitations. But in general, I think all of us rarely wish ill will on others, maybe not at all 🙂

Always a pleasure to you see your responding to my comments, Hugh.

      2. Quite true, Mabel, although after hearing that quote I am now more determined that ever to ensure I am the first person mentioned in the quote. I hate the thought of anybody becoming happier after I’d left, but I suppose I’ll never know whether that will happen or not?

    1. Yes, quite a few people have said to me they had to read the quote twice, maybe more. I was lucky enough to have heard it on the radio so it made sense to me straight away. You are most welcome and thank you so much for stopping by and leaving a comment.
