Excuse Me, I think You’ll Find There’s Spam on That!

I haven’t been doing anywhere near as much writing as I would have liked to have done over the last few weeks.  I have my reasons for that and all I’m going to say to you is that other parts of my life have taken priority recently, and I’m hoping to be back on track with the writing next week.

So, I’m going to sign off the last two weeks by sharing with you all, my all time favourite comedy sketch.  It features a British comedienne by the name of Victoria Wood and the very brilliant Julie Walters.  I first encountered Victoria and her comedy in the mid Nineteen Eighties and I’ve been a huge fan ever since.

So, this is for all of you, as a big thank you from me for your continuing support by following and commenting on my blog.  I hope it makes you laugh as much as it makes me laugh whenever I watch it.

      1. I think the BBC should give you a direct link to British TV, Colleen. I like them all as well, and the new series of Dr.Who started a few weeks ago and is very good. We are so lucky to have the BBC as they do produce some excellent television series. Happy viewing 🙂

    1. True and, in fact, I mentioned that particular sketch in a past post, Chris. Monty Python did a live tour in the UK earlier this year and packed the O2 arena out every single night. Comedy from the 1970’s, 80’s and 90’s is so much more better than what we get today.

  1. I’ve never seen this before. Made me laugh out loud! 😀 Loved the bit about the prawns.

I’ve had some time away from my blog too lately. It’s half past midnight here now so I’m off to bed. Hope you are having a lovely Autumn, Hugh. Say hello to Toby! 🙂
