Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge – Water or the Season of Winter

This week’s Fun Foto Challenge from Cee is Water or the Season of Winter.

My last post caused quite a stir, as I asked the question can it ever be too early for Christmas?, so Cee’s Fun Foto challenge this week came right at the correct moment for me, as it allows me to show-off some Winter photos (one of which we used as our Christmas card last year).  I do love the season of winter, although not as much as I enjoy the Autumn, and the weather in the Winter months here in the UK can vary so much, year to year.

  1. Wow Hugh! Excellent snow photos! The winter tea time photo is a stand-out. Snow is so special to me as I have only seen it three times in my life. And doesn’t Toby look wonderful against a snowy background! 🙂 Thanks for this. The pictures made my day. Best wishes, Hugh.

    1. Hi Maria, that first one is also my favourite (but don’t tell Toby that :)). I really love it when we get snow in the Winter. Last winter we had none what so ever so I felt a little cheated. I’m hoping we get at least a few snowy days this winter, like we did two winters ago when I took those pictures.

      1. Interesting that it doesn’t snow every year. I think I would be disappointed too if I lived in a snowy place and missed out on all that lovely white covering in winter. I must say that winter landscapes are particularly beautiful.

Hope you get a white Christmas this year, Hugh. All those great photo opportunities! 😄📷
